Choose-APY

Branching narratives are expensive to write and cheap to generate, which makes them an obvious thing to point a language model at. Choose-APY generates the story as the reader goes, so the branches do not have to exist until someone takes them.

The hard part was not the generation. It was prompt design for an audience of children — keeping the output age-appropriate and the tone consistent across a branch the author never saw, while maintaining enough story state that choices made early still matter later.
