FXMandelbrot

A JavaFX renderer for the Mandelbrot set, written to learn the then-new JavaFX scene graph.

The Mandelbrot set is the standard excuse for learning a new graphics API, and JavaFX was new in 2013. Iterate a simple complex-number recurrence for every pixel, colour by how long it takes to escape, and you have both a picture and a feel for how the platform handles pixel-level work.

A desktop application, so there is nothing to run here. A canvas reimplementation would make it interactive again — a contained side-project rather than part of this build.
