goc
A small navigator for a machine with too many projects on it — jump to any of them, and pick the conversation back up where it stopped.
Private repository — the writing here describes the approach rather than linking to code.
- Python
- shell integration
Not clever, and the one I use most.
With a few dozen projects spread across cloud-synced folders, dated directories and a couple of
drives, the friction is not the work — it is arriving at it. goc reads the same project registry
that drives my status dashboard, so the list is never separately maintained, and moves me to any of
them by fuzzy name. With one flag it also resumes the assistant session that was last open there,
so the context comes back with the directory.
It is included here because it is the connective tissue. A fleet of tools each holding their own context is only workable if getting into that context is one word long.
The name is “go, claude”, shortened. Plain go collides with the Go toolchain.
The repository is private.
