Generated code is cheap and generated code is disposable. What is not disposable is the specification that produced it.
SRDD takes that seriously: design from a formalised specification, generate the implementation, then validate the result by refining the specification rather than patching the output. The round trip is the point. If the generated code is wrong, the specification was ambiguous, and fixing the code without fixing the specification guarantees you will meet the same bug again.
